After long-distance clashes with Prime Minister Edi Rama, the mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli said that he took these rumors as a positive way to promote Vlora.

Speaking on ABC's "Verition Edition" show, Leli was asked how he would respond to an invitation from the Democratic Party, but the mayor emphasized that he had never considered such a thing.

"It has nothing to do with it. "It's not something I thought about and it does not cross my mind", said Leli.         

We recall that Rama asked Leli to campaign for the April 25 elections and leave the municipality, but the mayor did not respond. This is where the rupture of their relationship began, which seems to continue even today.
