The police finalize 3 operations to crack down on drug cultivation, more than 6,000 seedlings are destroyed

Three operations have been finalized by the Police in Krujë, Lezhë and Shkodër, to attack the cultivation of narcotics. Controls were carried out from the air and from the ground where in the end 6262 cannabis sativa seedlings and narcotic plants were destroyed.

The procedural materials were passed to the relevant prosecutors at the courts in Durrës, Lezhë and Shkodër, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants".

POLICE NOTICE:

Massive controls of the territory, by land and air, as well as police mega-operations against attempts to cultivate cannabis sativa follow.

In Kruja, Lezhë and Shkodër, 3 mega-operations have been developed, as a result of controls and police intelligence.

A total of 6,262 cannabis sativa seedlings and narcotic plants are destroyed. The investigative structures of the Police continue the in-depth actions to determine the authorship of these cases.

In Kruja, during the checks within the 9th phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Clean Territory", 875 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings were found, specifically: 580 seedlings in the village of Shkret and 295 seedlings in the mountain of Brret.

In the Lezhë region, during the controls within the 8th phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Imazhi", 4557 seedlings and suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found, specifically: 1700 plants in the village of Gernac, Milot; 1335 plants in Selitë village, Milot; 1000 plants in the village of Kallmet, Lezhë; 289 plants in the village of Lester, Milot and 233 plants in the mountain of Shengjin.

In the Shkodër district, during the controls within the 4th phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Clean Alps", in the village of Sumë, the administrative unit of Pult, 830 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found.

Suspected narcotic saplings and plants were destroyed by burning, while a small part of them was seized as material evidence.

The anti-cannabis police mega-operations "Clean Territory", "Image" and "Clean Alps" continue.
