High temperatures, AKMC appeal: Increased attention to fire prevention

The National Civil Protection Agency informed citizens and institutions about the risk of high temperatures in the coming days.

In a press release AKMC emphasized that based on the situation created by forest fires, based on the forecast in the bulletin of the Emergency Response Coordination Center (ERCC) in Brussels, as well as Albanian institutions such as IGJEO, the Military Meteorological Service, etc.

The National Civil Protection Agency appeals to citizens to show increased caution to prevent incidents that may damage life and property.

According to meteorological forecasts, temperatures will reach up to 40°C, which creates favorable conditions for fires in forests and rural areas.

 "If you notice smoke or fire, report it immediately to the fire service at number 128 or 112," AKMC said.

The implementation of these measures is necessary to protect life, property and the environment.

"The cooperation of every citizen is important to ensure a safe and peaceful summer season," said AKMC.
