According to ADAC in Germany, you should not consume water in countries like Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, etc.

Meanwhile, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the US says that you should not consume the water as you risk many diseases.

The recommendation states that the water contains pathogens due to poor hygiene. For this reason, it is recommended that you boil the water before using it.

Authorities say water should be boiled for at least three minutes. Albania has invested millions of euros in water pipes, but apart from the lack of water supply, it is not consumed by the inhabitants.
