"Llogara Tunnel, 190 million euros", Bardhi asks the Minister of Finance: What prompted you to double the values for three projects?
In the Laws Commission, democrat Gazment Bardhi asked the Minister of Finance, Arben Malaj, what prompted him to double the values of the three projects, at a time when the amount was previously determined.

Minister Malaj, in response, said that the analyzes came from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and the revision of the values had to be done because the exchange rate has changed.
Bardhi: A few days after you were appointed Minister of Finance with a government decision, you added 3-4 months after the preliminary project values of around 260 million euros were approved for only three projects, so it is about the Tirana Durrës highway expansion project, by Elbasan pass and Tirana-Ndroq-Plepa road. Without doing any feasibility study, without doing any analysis because the analysis was done and the value of the projects was approved and I don't know that there is any such big development of the price increase, it comes to a project that was predicted with 205 million euros to go to 298.8 million euros, or a project that had a value of 39.8 million euros, you cut it to 87 million euros, or as is the case of the By Pass of Elbasan, which was predicted to cost 120 million euros, has increased to 240 million euros.

Arben Malaj: For the projects mentioned by you, they are projects for which analyzes have come from the line ministry, in this case from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy for the Review of Values. I am taking the case of the Tirana Durrës project that dates back to 2010. So the values were from 2010 and need to reflect both the construction costs and the effects of the exchange rate. So there is a detailed analysis because the prices have changed.
Bardhi: There was a government decision 5 months ago that defined the values I mentioned.
