Although we talk about successful tourism, one of the big problems of the summer season is the ubiquitous insects.

Last summer, the show "Stop" on TV Klan investigated how the company "Egian Med" shpk falsified documents and obtained an authorization for the disinsection of the country, winning a tender worth millions of lek.

"Egian Med" had falsified the document of an insecticide, which is not allowed to be used in Albania.

Emission Stop informed the company that manufactures it in Florida, USA, and the EPA, the institution that certifies insecticides in the United States.

From the official answers, it was confirmed that the insecticide used by "Egian Med" and which received authorization from the Ministry of Health was not from this company, as "Egian" had claimed.


This fact caused the KPK to cancel the tender, which had announced "Egian Med" as the winner. But on the other hand, the Ministry of Health did not cancel the authorization obtained with false documents from this company, so that "Egian" could hit it in court.

Only two months later, the entity "Euro Med", which does the disinsection with the product of "Egian Med", opened a trial in the Administrative Appeal, winning again the authorization for a biocide, which is not allowed to be used in Albania.

This case was closed within 5 months in favor of the entities that had used false documents. As a result of all this chaos in this area, Shkodra and Lezha remained without disinsection. /tvklan.al
