Edmond Tafa is the Albanian who escaped from the infamous Greek prison of Koridhalos.

A 48-year-old convicted drug trafficker has managed to escape from the high-security Koridhalos prison in Greece.

Edmond Taga took advantage of the moment when the gate opened as the prison waste was being taken out and managed to run away.

Numerous police forces have been pursuing him but have not yet managed to catch him.

It is suspected that the Albanian fled through the alleys, and it is not yet known whether it was an organized plan or a spontaneous escape. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
