Arrested for drug trafficking, the former official seeks freedom in court

The former official of AKSHI, Erisa Fero, who was arrested after being caught with drugs, demands freedom.

Fero was arrested by the police in December last year along with two other people as part of a drug trafficking group. She was handcuffed by the police in Qafthana because she is suspected of trafficking in narcotics and 58 kilograms of cannabis were found in the car she was driving.

Fero was a member of the Socialist Party as part of the vote counting committee in 2021. At that time, she was reported to the prosecutor's office for vote manipulation.

She was arrested together with Likmend Basha, the son of a businessman from Fushë-Kruja and a 17-year-old with the initials MK. the girl had the role of the transporter, while the two boys would monitor the road where the load of 58 kilograms of cannabis would cross towards North Macedonia.
