Diaspora vote/ Administration "landing" in Athens, what is happening within the registration process

Immigrants vote for the first time in countries where they have lived for years. And to do so, they must first register in the system, through the link distributed by the CEC. Which for some has become an impossible mission, as the system presents a number of problems.

Just as immigrants who have tried to register have failed dozens of times, these registration refusal tables have become the biggest problem for those immigrants who have decided to cast their vote.

The cases are countless, while after rejection, none of the immigrants can request additional information. The only option is to restart the registration process from the beginning.

While these people expressed their dissatisfaction and doubts about how thousands of potential voters of the opposition forces are facing difficulties in registering, it seems that Socialist Party voters have eased things up, which also comes from the maximum and block-based engagement of a state machinery, run by central and local elected officials.

And to understand the efficient forms of organization of the 'party state', we had to travel once again to Athens, returning after 8 months to the scene of the crime, where the prime minister's pompous meeting with Albanians from across the border took place, not forgetting the large number of state administration employees.

But this time things were of a different nature, more informal, but at the same time more efficient, in search of a fourth consecutive term, now with the help of the diaspora vote.

But what was the real purpose of this gathering of Albanians in one of the halls of the President Hotel, in the center of Athens? Moreover, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, Minister of Education Ogerta Manastirliu, the mayors of the Municipalities of Fier, Lushnje, Roskovec, and a large number of administration employees. For this we had to infiltrate the premises by posing as militants of the Socialist Party.

What immediately catches our eye in the hotel parking lot, and which was something we expected, is the large number of cars with Albanian license plates. Luxury cars were parked throughout the reserved space.

As soon as we enter the lobby, we meet militants who have been introduced to the patronage groups that the socialist party has opened in all the metropolises of the Greek state, where there are also larger concentrations of Albanians.

Upon entering the hall, which is located in the basement of the hotel, we finally understand the purpose of this gathering of Athenian Albanians.

Pra bëhej fjalë për regjistrimin e votuesve socialistë, të cilët mund të hasin vështirësi në këtë proces online, ose edhe mund të neglizhojnë për arsye të ndryshme, duke çuar dëm një votë të sigurtë për partinë në pushtet.

Dhe kjo në një forcë politike rradhështërnguar si kurrë më parë, dhe me një administratë që nuk ia përton të bëjë 700 km në fundjavë, duke lënë mënjanë angazhimet familjarë, sepse ashtu e kërkojnë shefat e mëdhenj, është gjëja më normale. Por kur shohim gjithë këtë angazhim, disa pyetje na vijnë vetvetiu:

A janë makinat e shtetit që po përdoren në fundjavë për takime në funksion të fushatës politike të Partisë në pushtet? Po karburanti? Pagesa e autostradës? Hotelet, drekat e darkat, nga kush janë paguar?

Ndërkohë, zonja me të cilën u përballëm sapo hymë, na pyet nëse jemi aty për tu regjistruar, dhe më pas nis menjëherë të na sqarojë për disa detaje.

Përballë kemi një zonjë e cila duket kompetente e fushës. Në sytë tanë është një eksperte, pjesë e strukturave të partisë socialiste, por një fjali e saj, na i ngatërron keq të gjitha idetë që kishim për takimin e shqiptarëve në Hotel President.

Pra një përfaqësuese e KQZ në një projekt të KQZ në një sallë me militantë dhe drejtues të lartë të partisë Socialiste.

Ne nuk e kemi identifikuar ende këtë zonjë, por pas kësaj që dëgjuam, mund të themi me plot gojë se në çdo rast jemi përpara shkeljes së ligjit

Nëse zonja është ajo që deklaron, pra një përfaqësuese e KQZ, me një projekt të iniciuar nga KQZ, dhe pret në një sallë militantët socialistë për t’i orientuar se si të votojnë, atëherë jemi në një rast të pjesëmarrjes së një punonjëseje të KQZ në takime partish për efekte elektorale. Qoftë edhe thjesht prezenca e saj aty pa dhënë asnjë këshillë, konsiderohet si shkelje administrative me masë të menjëhershme disiplinore, shkarkim nga detyra.

Gjithashtu, në këtë rast zonja në fjalë ka kryer veprën penale “përdorim i funksionit publik për veprimtari politike, parashikuar nga neni 328/a i Kodit Penal.

Në rastin e kundërt, edhe sikur zonja, të jetë thjesht një tekniciene e administratës socialiste, që mashtron emigrantët duke u hequr si eksperte e KQZ, sërish jemi jo vetëm përballë një skandali, por edhe në një vepër penale. Sepse në nenin 246 të kodit penal thuhet se Përvetësimi i një titulli apo detyre shtetërore përbën kundravajtje penale dhe dënohet me gjobë ose me burgim deri në dy vjet.

Ndërkohë, pas sqarimeve që na dha, zonja e cila deklaron që është e KQZ, ulet duke ndihmuar emigrantët për tu regjisruar në aplikacionin e votuesve….

Salla e madhe e katit nëntokësor, është ndarë në mes. Nga njëra anë janë emigrantët nga qarku i Fierit dhe nga ana tjetër, ata të qarkut Vlorë.

This is also the reason why they have taken a large number of administrative employees behind them, who also have detailed lists that include every immigrant signaled by patronage agents as a sure voter of the Socialist Party.

While local leaders and their followers hold individual and group meetings with immigrants all the time, some young people from Albania are tasked with taking photos that will then allow registration in the system. They work and fight for every grain of vote, from Fier and Vlora to Athens.

As the minutes pass, more and more people arrive, while the heavyweights of the Socialist Party climb to the podium... Among them is the rising star of the Rama government, who is welcomed with selfies by the Athenian militants.
