The killing of the policeman in Leposavic, Begaj: Internationals should react decisively to the perpetrators

President Bajram Begaj has reacted regarding the killing of the policeman and the armed attack in the north of Kosovo.

Begaj, through a message of condolence, expresses that he strongly condemns the attack on the Kosovo police in the municipality of Leposavič.

He has called on the internationals to react decisively to the orderers and implementers of this act as he emphasizes that Albania will stand by Kosovo.

"I strongly condemn the attack on the Kosovo police in the municipality of Leposaviq, where one policeman was killed and two others were injured.

This organized criminal act is a serious violation of the order and security of the Republic of Kosovo.

I call on the international community to react decisively to the orderers and implementers of this extremely serious act for the stability of Kosovo and peace in the Western Balkans region.

I express my sincere condolences to the family of the slain policeman and wish a speedy recovery to the injured policemen. In these moments, calmness, prudence and close cooperation with KFOR and allies are needed more than ever.

Albania is always in support of Kosovo" , said Begaj.
