Abdixhiku thanks citizens: LDK's growth insufficient for changing the

The Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, thanked today the citizens who voted for his party, as well as all those who worked during the election campaign.

In a Facebook post, Abdixhiku expressed pride in the LDK's journey so far, emphasizing that the party's growth gives it the opportunity for better internal organization. However, he admitted that this growth is not enough to bring about change in the Republic at this stage, expressing regret for this result.

"Our growth provides opportunities and peace for better internal party organization – and for this I will always remain proud; but this growth is insufficient for the change of the Republic at this stage – and for this I regret," Abdixhiku wrote.

He announced that LDK will express its political positions after the full vote count, including votes from the diaspora.

Meanwhile, the vote counting process is continuing, with final results expected to be announced in the coming days.
