Defense Minister confirms: In September and October, American planes brought weapons to Kosovo

Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, has confirmed that the Kosovo Security Force has purchased weapons from the United States of America during September, October and early November.

Speaking at the Rubicon of the Kosovo Klan, the Macedonian stressed that the US never hesitates to cooperate with Kosovo in the purchase of weapons.

"We have continuously received and are receiving weapons from the US. The last purchase was in October, before that we had a contingent that arrived during September.

"We had American military planes land at Pristina International Airport, where weapons were unloaded and loaded onto KSF trucks. Naturally, these have not been made public by us due to sensitivity ," said the Macedonian. 

"During September we had American aircraft, while during October and early November we received weapons that were presented during Kurti's visit, right within the KSF. In no case have we had any hesitation from the US to sell weapons to the KSF, on the contrary I had the opportunity to visit Washington in December last year, where I had meetings at the US Department of State and the US Department of Defense, where we received extremely great support from these departments ," he added.
