The institutions of Kosovo have condemned the recent attacks of the Palestinian group Hamas against Israel. Dozens of people have been killed and hundreds injured since Friday morning in rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has expressed full solidarity with the President and the people of Israel.
"Horrified by the terrorist attacks and killings of innocent civilians in Israel. We express our full solidarity with President Isaac Herzog, the people and the State of Israel in these dark hours. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims", President Osmani wrote.
Prime Minister Ablin Kurti wrote that "Kosovo unequivocally condemns the terrorist attacks against the State of Israel".
"The Republic of Kosovo unequivocally condemns today's terrorist attacks against the State of Israel. Our thoughts are with the people of Israel during this extremely challenging time. We condemn all acts of violence and stand in steadfast solidarity with those affected," Kurti wrote.
While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has written that Kosovo stands in full solidarity with Israel.
"Kosovo strongly condemns the terrorist attacks against Israel. We stand in full solidarity with Israel at these terrible times. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and all of Israel", it was emphasized in the reaction.
After the attacks, the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, also reacted, stressing that "violence is never a solution".
"Horrified by the horrific attack against the State of Israel. We stand in solidarity with the victims, their families and all those affected. Violence is never a solution and we hope for an immediate end to hostilities", wrote Krasniqi.
While the head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has said that the attacks on the civilian population are a pain for the entire democratic world.
"We stand by Israel in this difficult day for them. Terrorist attacks on the civilian population, hostage-taking and aggression are a great pain for the entire democratic world. We wish for a quick stabilization of the situation. To the families of the victims and the State of Israel, condolences and strength", wrote Haradinaj.
