The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today visited the village of Varagë in Zubin Potok, where the explosion occurred in the Ibër-Lepenci canal.
During the visit, he spoke to the media stressing that the Police have carried out checks in the apartments and made arrests, while they have discovered evidence and material evidence about the incident.
Kurti emphasized that the persons responsible for the explosion will face the law and justice of the Republic of Kosovo.
He thanked the Police officers, engineers and experts for their commitment in remediating the consequences.
According to Kurt, partial repairs of the canal have been carried out, managing to restore more than a quarter of the water flows, which are important for cooling power plants and water supply. Investigations continue while Raids and arrests are still in progress.
