The news was confirmed by the CIA itself, which explains that an attempt for a cyber attack on the central servers of the institution was prevented.

According to the CIA, it was possible to block this attack by not allowing any damage or leakage of information to the Service.

" In response to the media interest, we clarify that the specialists at the Technology and Information Sector (IT) in the General Directorate of the Service for Internal Affairs and Complaints (CIA) have managed to prevent an attempt for a cyber attack on the central servers of the institution.

Rapid and timely intervention has made it possible to block this attack by not allowing any damage or leakage of information to the Service. Currently, IT specialists are working to further increase the security of all systems and network of the Service ", announces the CIA.
