Jennifer Lopez takes another step in her career

Ben Affleck, in his role as a producer, has hired his wife, Jennifer Lopez, for his next film, 'Unstoppable'. The film will be shot under the auspices of Artists Equity, a production company headed by him and Oscar winner and friend of the actor, Matt Damon. Unstoppable will be the second film from the production house, following the biographical sports drama Air, about the origins of NBA legend Michael Jordan's sneaker brand, which will hit theaters on April 5, 2023.

According to Deadline, the film 'Unstoppable' is the true story of Anthony Robles, an American wrestler who won a national championship as a student at Arizona State despite being born with only one leg. The film will be an adaptation of Robles' 2012 memoir, Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion.

It will be directed by William Goldenberg, who won the Oscar for Best Editing for 'Argo', a film directed by and starring Ben Affleck. Ben Affleck himself revealed that his wife JLo had contributed to the script of the movie 'Air' and was amazed by her talent. The actor and director told "The Hollywood Reporter" that:

"God, she's brilliant. She has an incredible understanding of how fashion evolves through culture as an intersection of music, sports, entertainment and dance."

This year, Jennifer Lopez appeared in Amazon Studios' romantic action comedy 'Shotgun Wedding' and her next film is 'The Mother', which will premiere on Netflix on May 12.
