The well-known presenter passes away

The well-known British comedian and BBC presenter, Maddy Anholt, has passed away at the age of 35.

The popular radio and television personality as well as charity activist recently revealed that she had an aggressive brain cancer shortly after the birth of her daughter Opal last year.

Maddy Anholt had her own radio show on Radio 4 and had roles in BBC, ITV and Channel 4 series in Britain.

The BBC writes that her family announced the tragic news a few hours after her death, saying that she spent the last few weeks at her parents' house.

The well-known presenter passes away

The presenter leaves behind her husband Ben, their one-year-old daughter Opal, her brother and her parents. The deceased underwent several surgeries and ineffective cancer treatments before her death.

 "It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Maddy Anholt, our beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife who left us at the age of 35. Maddy was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. She endured the painful and difficult treatments and spent the last weeks at her parents' house ," the family's announcement read.
