The occupation of the southern regions by Ukraine, Putin calls an emergency

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Ukraine is carrying out incursions with the aim of destabilizing the border territories. He stated that the next region that may be targeted by the Kiev army is Bryansk, while fighting is also taking place in Kursk and Belgorod. The Ukrainian army has entered 30 km inside the Russian territory.

"Relative calm in the Bryansk region does not guarantee that this situation will last, and therefore we must prepare for different scenarios," Putin said, reports the Russian news agency, Ria Novosti.

Acknowledging the difficulties of the Russian army at the front, he has warned that Ukraine will receive a worthy response to its offensive.

"Ukraine will receive a worthy response to the attack on Russian territory, and Moscow will achieve all its objectives," Putin said.

He added, among other things, that "the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region shows why the Kiev regime rejected peace offers from Moscow and mediators". For Putin, Ukraine's attack on Russia has been helped by the West.

"Ukraine attacked Russian territory with the help of the West with the aim of improving its position for future negotiations," the Kremlin chief continued.
