Berisha accuses Balla: I have documents that prove orders for murder

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made serious accusations against the leader of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, claiming that he has documents linking the latter to orders for murder.

In a press conference, Berisha stated that the documents proving the accusations against Balla have been eliminated, while accusing the latter of having connections with incriminated figures in the justice system. He specifically mentioned prosecutor Vate Staka, whom he described as "a thief who hid his wealth and passed the vetting with Balla's intervention."

"I would never have called Taulant Balla the head of a criminal organization if I didn't have the documents in my hands that prove this. They show that Balla ordered murders and then the evidence was eliminated. I have the file with all the facts," Berisha declared.

The opposition leader added that according to him, the arrests that have been taking place recently are part of a war between groups linked to power and not real actions to restore order and justice.
