Berisha: Trump's statement that the most dangerous enemy is the internal

The leader of the Democrats, Sali Berisha, unveiled the 2025-2029 government program for the Economy, in the presence of experts from the opposition and the German CDU "Konrad Adenauer" Foundation.

Berisha praised the statement of US President Donald Trump, who said that the most dangerous enemy of everyone is the enemy within. The chief democrat emphasized that the great and epochal changes have made great statesmen and courageous.

Berisha: First, I welcome the presence of our friends on this panel. Unlimited gratitude. The Heritage Foundation is a very valuable old ally of the most difficult days, but also of the best days of the Democratic Party.

An ally with whom we have shared principles, programs, and I have the greatest pleasure that today the representative and old friend of this foundation, Steven Buçi, is among us. He represents at a moment when we present the program the most important part of the economic program. I am very pleased that the distinguished personality of the British Conservatives, our allies since the founding of the DP, the head of the well-known foundation, New Direction Conservative based in Brussels, Mr. Van Orden, is among us to help in this program.

Director Asham is also a very important representative of Albanian business, and Albanian-American business. I would like to thank all the specialists, the institutes. The Conservative Institute, the Policy Center, the Albanian Policy Center, all the experts, the departments that have done an excellent job in drafting this program.

I return to the question. If you look at the history of mankind, the great and epochal changes have been marked by courageous statesmen. At the height of Nazi aggression, Winston Churchill would declare 'we will never be surrounded'. The opponent had 6 times the air force. He had a much larger army, but with his solemn oath before his nation and Europe, he emerged victorious.

Later, at the height of the Cold War, Ronald Reagan would shout at the Brandenburg Gate, 'Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall,' and the wall fell and the Iron Curtain fell.

And the German question, as he expressed it, was added to world freedom, it was a great victory of freedom.

I would say that of this epochal importance is President Donald Trump's statement that our most dangerous enemy is the enemy within.

For those of us who have lived under dictatorships, it sounded old, but there is no greater and bolder truth.

Before that, Gorbachev has the extraordinary merit of declaring that: Russia became a no-man's land at a time when the communist party in the Soviet Union was the giant political mammoth of all time, but it belonged neither to the party nor to the Russian people, and the BS disintegrated.
