They supplied Europe with cocaine/ Two Albanians are arrested in Bucharest, how the trafficking was done
Two Albanians have fallen into the handcuffs of the police in Romania. They were part of a drug trafficking group.
As a result of the police operation in Bucharest, eight people were arrested. Albanians in cooperation with Romanians distributed strong drugs.
The group transported cocaine and heroin from the Netherlands, in loads of 10-12 kg, hidden in cars that were sent to service stations, usually abroad, to be modified with special places to hide the drugs.
The drug was then distributed and sold in cities in Romania, Italy, France, Spain and Albania.
According to the investigators, the group started its criminal activity in 2021, when an Albanian citizen decided to form the sophisticated network. Then four other Albanians joined the group.
During the action, about 10 kilograms of cocaine, half a kilogram of heroin and an amount of about 400 counterfeit euros were seized. The prosecution requested the confiscation of 1 million euros of the criminal group, which were allegedly established from the drug trade, as well as a modified car.
