The journalist publicly denounces Alfred Peza: He sexually harassed me

The journalist of RTSH, Blerta Tafani, has publicly denounced through a letter addressed to the board of RTSH and its chairman, Leka Bungo, the former director of RTSH, Alfred Peza, for psychological violence at work and various pressures. In the letter addressed to the management board 3 days ago, journalist Tafani directly accuses Peza of sexual harassment.

She says she refused to answer these messages, but her phone was "bombarded" by several calls from Peza, who asked the journalist to have sex.

Dear members of the Steering Council of RTSH:

I, Blerta Tafani (Hajdari), a journalist for 25 years, of which the last 10 years at RTSH, with thousands of informative editions directed, the same amount of television material prepared, editing of news and editions, preparation and direction of several programs, yes I am writing to you about a concern that goes beyond the personal.

For 11 months now, I am facing unprecedented psychological pressure. On September 28 of last year, in the evening after 8:00 p.m., I received messages on my phone that were not only inappropriate, but also demanding for a meeting outside the institution from the General Director of RTSH, Mr. Alfred Peza, accompanied by insistence through more than ten consecutive phone calls, which I refused to answer.

After that, an unprecedented verbal and psychological violence began against me, including punishments, warnings, dismissals of all my colleagues, the interruption of my appearance in the central edition that I had been running for 10 years with the argument that "I do not embrace the project of the general director", the interruption of the spots of the program I was broadcasting, pressure on the people who worked for that program, warning of dismissal (without me being heard at all, in a shameful commission) and many others, which constitute a " true saga.

For all this, I found it reasonable to inform you as the Governing Council, with the right to elect the General Director of Radio Television Albanian, a property with only one OWNER:

THE PUBLIC, so that you can stop these Shameful actions for a public institution, stop the verbal violence as a result of the sexual harassment of the current Director General!

Attached I am sending you only an extract of the messages that I have, while I will present them in full to the relevant bodies of justice.

On dignity and professionalism, no one chosen by YOU, mandated by the elected citizens, can violate.
