The Vlora Prosecutor's Office has seized 13 million euros of assets in the last year alone.
The total amount comes from the preventive seizure placed on 33 real estates in total in 2022, while 7 criminal proceedings with 8 defendants have been sent for trial.
"Regarding the criminal offense of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", provided for by Article 287 of the Criminal Code, for the year 2022 it turns out that 32 criminal proceedings and 21 property investigations have been registered.
