They trafficked cocaine, the Albanian group in Italy is destroyed

An operation by the Italian Anti-Drug and Anti-Mafia led to the destruction of a group of Albanian drug traffickers based in Milan, Pavia, Monza and Modena.

Within 6 months, the criminal group trafficked drugs, mainly cocaine, with a market value of 5 million euros.

By order of the Milan Prosecutor's Office, 8 arrest warrants, 5 arrest warrants, 2 house arrest warrants and 1 warrant of appearance have been executed.

The investigations have clarified the connections and ramifications of this criminal activity with Albanian groups in Albania, Latin America, Belgium and the Netherlands.

According to the investigations, the money earned from drug trafficking was recycled in the economy of different countries.

The identification of the members of this group of Albanian drug traffickers was revealed after encrypted conversations on sophisticated, state-of-the-art mobile devices and with the help of Europol and Eurojust experts.
