From Tirana, Dr. Tullio Simoncini treated four patients, some with cancer, with Whatsapp messages or Skype messages, prescribing bicarbonate treatments, and bypassing radiation treatment.

Italian media report that Simoncini visits and gives prescriptions from Rome or Tirana despite the fact that he could not perform his activity as a doctor. In October six years ago, Simoncini, via an internet connection, described a CT scan of a woman born in Romania. He could not do that, as he was expelled. Also in the same month he conducted a paid skype consultation with a lady from Castrovillari.

In November 2016, via whatsapp, he exchanged messages with a patient, suggesting washing with bicarbonate for tumor treatment. One patient said he spent 200 euros on a visit. If he had agreed to follow the former doctor's prescriptions, he would have had to pay seven thousand euros. This remained the only visit.
