Tupja: Rama considers himself the greatest lover of the Albanian language
Professor and pedagogue Edmond Tupja, while talking about the distortion that is being done to the Albanian language, also referred to Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Invited to the Euronews Albania studio, Tupja said that Rama pretends to be the biggest lover of the Albanian language, but in fact he himself uses foreign terms in government speeches. The professor mentioned an instance in the plenary session of the Assembly, where Ram used the word 'sens' instead of 'meaning'.
"Sens. I heard the Prime Minister recently in the plenary session of the Assembly, the one who considers himself to be the greatest lover of the Albanian language, as he claimed. I turned off the TV there. It doesn't make sense, say no, it doesn't make sense", said Tupja.
The professor said that politicians are the ones who use the most foreign terms and they do this to cover inferiority complexes.
"The prime minister said he was surprised. Now what happens, the word is gone surprise surprise, the whole family is gone. Politicians have an inferiority complex pig and they want to cover it with beautiful and modern words. This shows that they have an inferiority complex" , said Tupja.
