Brad Pitt makes new accusations against Angelina Jolie

Hollywood star Brad Pitt claims his ex-partner Angelina Jolie was planning to sell her stake in the Château Miraval estate as "revenge" for their legal battle. According to legal documents obtained by Page Six, the actor claims that they had previously agreed that they would never sell their shares unless they decided to do so together. However, when they split in 2019, Jolie announced that she wanted to "get rid of" the French property she bought with Brad Pitt in 2008 for $30 million.

In addition, she agreed to give Pitt a larger share than his due, since he had invested more money and time in the estate. However, in the summer of 2021, the actor revealed through his lawyer that Jolie had sold 50% of her shares to a Russian oligarch, which Pitt had previously rejected. The actor claims that his ex-wife secretly cooperated behind his back with Yuri Scheffler, who is also the owner of Stoli Group.

New filings claim that the reason Jolie refused to sell her shares to Pitt was revenge, following their legal battle over the custody of their six children. We recall that recently Pitt sold a property in an exclusive neighborhood of Beverly Hills in Los Feliz, earning over 37 million dollars. Pitt bought the property over 30 years ago for less than $2 million. The Hollywood star had bought the property from actress Cassandra Peterson in 1994 for only 1.7 million dollars.
