Lori Hoxha talks about her life and remembers her father: It made me believe in

TAR :  I wanted to know what this period does, yes everything is seen on instagram or not?

Lori:  My Instagram is overdue (laughs). I post everything later, either in the queue I need or convenient to show what I want to show or if the photos go well with each other. Photos when I cry do not fit well with the brand I have built so I avoid them.

Are you used to the fact that a stranger knows you so well, this fact worries you?

No I have not learned. As much as I know the impact and audience of the channels where I post, sometimes they look like numbers and I forget that behind the number is an individual who follows me, sees, likes or insults me! However, I do not understand that anyone can recognize you from instagram - it is like pretending to have seen the movie after seeing only the trailer. My Instagram is a 'highlight reel'.

Have you ever felt controlled by someone? Are you using it?

Never checked, used every day. Everywhere I go human values are lost and every person or business sees what you can do for them. Everywhere I go I have "Lori Hoxha, 900 thousand followers" written on my forehead and everyone wants to serve you only for advertising. People are kinder than that and it does not necessarily make you feel good. Sometimes I just want to hang out or have lunch without anyone coming to me and saying "don't forget a post Lori (wink)". I just want them to serve me as clients and pay for that service. Instagram is fun but it bothers me how much it affects everyone’s life. We are not just numbers and algorithms!

Despite what is being said about you, those who have had the opportunity to work with you know what professional discipline you have and what visionary you are? Would you regret it if it was never understood by the general public?

I would very much like them to know. Not to appreciate me, but to believe in the work we do. Every initiative I take, I get 110%. If I do something, it turns out that I gave my best, be it a dinner outfit during the week or a campaign like this for the collection with "Cohl's". When introducing yourself to something, at least for me, it is important to recognize how much you can give and never compromise on quality. I work hard to maintain the standard I think I have created for myself and I am selective for the group I am close to. I want them to be efficient but at the same time dreamy like me. Discipline appears when you respect schedules, deadlines and I try to be strict with myself. I'm never late and I expect the same from the people around me. I also think that work speaks for itself and vision and discipline are clearly transmitted to those who see with the naked eye.

Everyone is trying many things in life today? What is one thing you would (suddenly) do and one thing that you never thought you could do?

If life has taught me anything, it is to never say never. I am open to everything and I think that whatever comes to me to do I will do. However, I will never be the one to try to do things that fit for no reason. I also know that whatever I take on I will cry with tears (laughs).

Do physical changes come with age and with interventions, spiritual ones with experiences? The three things that have marked Lorin most spiritually are…?

My father's death is the first, I believe expected. It has taught me to lose since a young age, it has made me stronger and it has built my character. He also created some 'daddy issues' for me, but we will talk about these in another interview (laughs). East London is second but no less important. It made me believe in life again at a time when everything seemed bleak and hopeless. Moving to London I would say third. I totally changed! For better or worse I know, but I can say that I am less afraid of life today and that I manage to turn on the washing machine and without help. I also realized that in life I have taken many things without much effort, and for some things in life you have to try harder.

The person who goes to keep it flat?

Mom. But not flat badly. She will see me well spiritually and knows that I have other people for criticism.

The person you fight the most do you want more?

Sara and it bothers me so much that I mention her in every interview (laughs). But it is essential in my life. She builds me up when I'm down, and pulls me down when I get cocky.

Rachel Green's favorite joke is…

Oh that’s ok, girls tend not to like me! (qesh)

Your day with three sayings:

In the morning: "Coffee, then the world."

Në drekë: “Something like this but not this.”

At dinner : "You do not have to figure it out tonight."

If you were a song ten years ago what would it be, what about today?

When you said 10 years ago, in my head were "Backstreet Boys" but meanwhile 10 years ago it was 2010! Terrible where time goes ?! Drake's first album was released in 2010 so I will say "Over" because it is my favorite song from that album. While today I would be "Lonely" by Justin Bieber.

"If life has taught me anything, it is to never say never."

You are not the first to release sportswear, from Tom Ford (who considered heresy) to public figures with their lines - Do you think the younger generation will be more 'fit' than we have more sportswear in circulation?

Either I 'fit', or we will be so comfortable that we will not be able to get up from the sofa.

Where should you never wear tracksuits?

For dinner at the restaurant.

Would you have done something different if you had returned 10 years ago?

Yes. I would not have returned to live in Albania when I was 18 years old.

What do you say to those who do not believe in you?

They will be more surprised./ Top Albania Radio
