WhatsApp is one of the most popular video calling apps, but its users still can't share their device's screen with the people they're talking to. WABetaInfo writes that this is changing soon and that the app will do screen sharing during video calls that is activated when the user taps a new icon that will appear in the call control menu.

"WhatsApp will have access to all information that is visible on your screen while recording or streaming. This includes information such as passwords, payment details, photos, messages and audio being streamed at the time," the warning accompanying the new feature says.
