Zhupa denounces: Alfred Peza violated the law, massive dismissals without motivation, RTSH as a personal fiefdom

The Democratic Party has today denounced the abuses that are being done in the Albanian Radio-Television and has accused the General Director Alfred Peza.

It is about 125 people dismissed by Alfred Peza at the head of RTSH and the last one is the case of the director, Ergi Hasku, as the DP deputy, Ina Zhupa, declared before the media.

Zhupa said that Peza has turned RTSH into a personal fiefdom.

Zhupa's statement:

The illegal election at the head of RTSH has been denounced time and time again by us and this election has led to his illegal, abusive actions at the head of RTSH.

Of course, the person who comes to the head of the institution without knowing the law, will act without knowing the law even while running this institution.

We will make a series of denunciations about the abuses about the abuses of RTSH led by the new illegal director, Alfred Peza.

Today I will focus on cases of mass dismissals in violation of the rules of the labor code of the Republic of Albania, carried out by the General Director, Alfred Peza, since taking the position and until two days ago, where the flagrant case was the director of who had done the big damage, who had praised his show that takes place on RTSH, on his personal Instagram.

For this, he was punished by the General Director, Alfred Peza, by dismissing him from his job.

This case and hundreds of other cases which I will read for transparency to the public, show how Alfred Peza has turned RTSH into a personal fiefdom, without law, without morals, where he does the most illegal and immoral actions in terms of how to administer an institution that is maintained by public funds and the taxes of Albanians.

A journalist has been fired, Magdalena Alla, because she wrote on Facebook against violence against animals.

A journalist was fired because he did not bring the chairs to the director's meeting.

Another was fired because he sent SMS to Alfred Peza, while his majesty required a more formal and official communication.

Today I will read the names of those fired and I also have the motivations of each of them, and they are totally illegal.

This is a limited list of all those who have been unjustly fired by the director of RTSH, Alfred Peza.

Of course, that member of the Education Commission, the commission responsible for the control of RTSH, will follow all legal steps, to stop and bring Alfred Peza to legal responsibility. Just as I appeal to the bodies of justice, the Supreme State Control to monitor this institution that has turned into an illegal institution, an institution where the will of an individual is more important than the rules of the state, the labor code and than the morality and responsibility that must be performed by the public functions in this case, in the RTSH held with the taxes of the Albanians.
