The railway line Pristina-Durres, how much the feasibility study will cost the

Kosovo and Albania signed at the joint meeting of October 2, 2020, a memorandum for the construction of the Pristina-Durres railway line.

The Assembly of Kosovo reviewed today on the agenda the Draft Law on the Co-financing Agreement for the Feasibility Study for the Durrës-Prishtina railway line. As the Minister of Infrastructure Liburn Aliu stated, the feasibility study is expected to cost both countries 1,980,000 euros, Monitor reports.

"This co-financing agreement aims to define the procedures and share the costs between the two countries for the financing, feasibility study and project idea for this railway line. The total cost for the realization of the feasibility study and the project idea for the construction of the railway line is expected to be 1 million and 980 thousand euros" , said Aliu.

The said cost will be divided between the two countries where the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania will share the amount of 1 million euros, while the Ministry of Infrastructure of Kosovo will share the amount of 980 thousand euros.
