Protest in Rrjoll/ 24 people prosecuted, 2 others arrested

Following the clash between protesters and employees of a security company and damage to the vehicles of the company that is building a resort in Rrjoll, the Velipoja Police announced that they have prosecuted a total of 24 people.

According to the official announcement of the Velipojë Police Station, Nardi Malaj, 51, and Tur Shullani, 45, have been arrested.

The arrested are accused of "Destruction of property", "Opposing an employee performing a state duty or a public service" and "Intentional serious injury".

Proceedings at large: 7 people For citizens: LK, 32 years old (Ivanaj); AN, 33 years old (Gomaiqe); DN, 27 years old (Gomsiqe); NM, 70 years old (Gomsiqe); Z. Sh., 54 years old (Velipoja); ZM, 33 years old (Rrjoll); PM, 69 years old (Rrjoll). They are accused of destruction of property and resisting a state employee.
