Even today, medical students have continued their protests and boycott for several days since the beginning of the new academic year. They unanimously demand that the government withdraw from the approved law.
According to the new law, medical students will have to stay in Albania to work for a period of 5 years after completing their higher studies. Then, they will have the right to receive the diploma.
The students demand that the government allow them to make the choices they want and not hold them hostage with a VKM.
