In a speech delivered at the Democratic Party's Steering Council, DP leader Sali Berisha stressed that the DP's list of MPs for the May 11 elections has names that are "worthy of three parliaments." He praised the party's candidates as capable and prepared to lead Albania towards positive changes.

In his speech, Berisha did not miss out on criticizing the opposing camp. According to him, "the list of opponents includes delinquents, criminals, ministers dressed in Dolce & Gabbana and much more expensive firms, but whose money comes from criminals." He added that these representatives carry a "heavy burden of criminal records on their backs."
