An infiltrated person entered among the protesters and shot the opposition leader Sali Berisha. The person was immediately neutralized by Berisha's bodyguards and the protesters.

But this incident did not stop Sali Berisha. He continued the march and led the citizens in the protest against the government.

After arriving at the boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation", Berisha spoke briefly condemning the criminals.

"Nothing in the world can defeat us, the people of the opposition, the people of victory, under Edi Rama.

Down with the criminals we will triumph, long live the Albanian opposition, we honor you who are here to protest against this regime of criminals", said Berisha from the podium.
