The Special Prosecution Office has announced that another proceeding has been registered against Belinda Balluku and the former head of Taxation, Ceno Klos.

The proceedings began after a criminal complaint filed by the President of the Court of Appeal of the Democratic Party, Adriana Kalaja, who requested the initiation of investigations against a group of persons, including senior officials and businessmen, for serious violations in tenders and millions in profits from public projects.

What is the investigation about? 

In the report filed in September 2025, Kalaja published the names of companies and their administrators, who have family ties to Belinda Balluku and Ceno Klosi and, according to her, are beneficiaries of tenders and projects worth millions of euros.

In the complaint, she states that the group is led by Belinda Balluku and, together with Ceno Klosi and other associates, has exercised illegal influence and abused her position for personal gain.

Kalaja urges SPAK and the head of the Special Prosecution Office, Altin Dumani, to conduct an impartial and direct investigation to fully uncover the reported criminal acts, bringing all responsible persons to justice, regardless of the position they hold.
