Following the blockade of the Librazhd-Përrenjas axis, a key segment connecting the Southeast with the rest of the country, Prime Minister Edi Rama's reaction has opened a new debate on the government's approach to the chaos that has now engulfed many axes of the country.

Instead of a presentation with technical details, transparency on the quality of the works, or clarification on the funds invested, Rama chose to see the situation from the air by traveling by helicopter to Korça and then address it publicly through social networks, making comparisons with other European countries.

Recently, Rama posted on social media a photo from a similar situation in the Portuguese state, attempting to convince public opinion that the collapse of roads in Albania is simply a "natural phenomenon" that also occurs in European Union countries and to discredit accusations of theft of road funds.

"It's amazing, the same phenomena have happened in Portugal, but I don't understand how it's possible that the opposition here hasn't yet denounced this act of corruption to SPAK, " Rama writes.

A few days ago, Rama reacted with the same strategy after the collapse of the Përrenjas-Librazhd road.

While 'selling' his alibi about why he was traveling to Korça by helicopter, he again makes the comparison that there are landslides in Italy as well.
