The "Rama 3" government and the governing program of the Socialist Party were voted in the Assembly with 77 votes in favor, 53 against, 1 abstention. The plenary session started at 10.00 yesterday morning and ended today around 06.00.

This marathon session started with the presentation of the governing program, then the ministers answered the questions of the deputies for the projects made public, continued with position-opposition debates and ended with the voting of the government and the program.

It is expected that today or tomorrow the new government will be sworn in before the President of the Republic, who decreed it a few days ago. After this procedure is completed, Rama's cabinet officially starts working.

We recall that during the session, the chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha refused to speak without the presence of Prime Minister Rama in the Assembly, creating tensions and debate.

The head of government returned after about 2 hours and said that he came to the hall only after the request of the opposition, because according to him, there is no obligation to be present. He said he had left the Assembly due to workload.

For the first time in Albania, a party wins the elections for the third time in a row. In the elections of April 25, the SP won 74 seats, the DP won 59, while the SMI managed to win only 4 and the PSD with 3.
