Kosovo educator sentenced to 11 years in prison for raping children in private

The Basic Court in Ferizaj has sentenced an educator accused of raping children in a private kindergarten to 11 years in prison and a 6,000 euro fine.

She was found guilty of the criminal offenses of "Child Abuse or Abandonment" and "Light Bodily Injury".

In relation to the first charge, she was sentenced to 11 years in prison, while for the second charge, the sentence was replaced with a fine of 6 thousand euros. 

The serious incident occurred on November 4 and 5, 2025, where she raped two children, causing them physical and psychological violence.

According to the court, she forced the children to sleep, physically abused them, and grabbed them by the hair, damaging the skin of one of them from the great force she used.
