In Pristina, anyone who throws waste in unauthorized places is fined 500 euros

The Regional Waste Company in Pristina has announced that cases of waste dumping in unauthorized locations are being treated with increased seriousness and have already been sent to the Inspectorates for further legal procedures.

According to the company's announcement, the goal is to increase civic discipline and protect public spaces from pollution, emphasizing that such abuses will not be tolerated.


"Don't forget, 500 euros is the amount of the fine that the Inspectorate imposes on people who throw waste in public spaces," the official announcement states.

The company also appealed to citizens to show greater care and respect the rules for waste management, contributing to maintaining the cleanliness of the city and the environment.

"We ask for everyone's cooperation to keep the city clean and to avoid pollution of public spaces, which directly affects the quality of life," the announcement further emphasizes.
