US President Donald Trump has leveled strong accusations against billionaire George Soros and his son, Alex Soros. He has publicly called for their prosecution under the US RICO law, which is used to target criminal organizations.

In a post on the social network, "Truth Social", Trump accused Soros of supporting violent protests, actions that, according to him, have severely damaged the US.

This statement by Trump has also caused resonance in Albania, as the figure of Soros has been the subject of political debate for years.

The Albanian opposition reacted immediately, calling Trump's approach an alarm signal for the close ties between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Soros network in Albania.

Trump's accusations against Soros seem to be turning into a debate that transcends Albanian borders.

American journalist Tyler O'Neil stated a few months ago in an interview on the Opinion show that "Albania is the center of the Soros Foundation in the Balkans."

According to him, Soros and his son have chosen Albania as the "first test case for their money and operations in the region," influencing the way governance works in Eastern Europe.

"My sources indicate that George and Alex Soros appear to have chosen Albania as the first test case for their money, operations and efforts to change the way government works in Eastern Europe. Albania has very high attention. You should also consider that George and Alex Soros have very close relations with the Prime Minister of Albania ," the American journalist declared.

He also mentioned the close ties between the Soross and Prime Minister Edi Rama, emphasizing Alex Soros' frequent visits to Albania and his close relationship with the head of government.

According to him, Soros's influence in Albania is not simply philanthropic, but also strategic and political.

Meanwhile, the opposition raises the alarm about the capture of justice, and the close ties between Rama and the Soros network, the silence of the majority only adds to the suspicions.

If Trump's accusations take on international proportions, Albania could find itself at the epicenter of a global debate about Soros' influence on the Rama government.
