The same is the fate of Belinda Balluku. The Deputy Prime Minister has received a summons from the Special Prosecution Office, which has already registered her as a person under investigation. Balluku is expected to appear at SPAK on Monday, accompanied by a lawyer.

The investigation against her was apparently also warned by Arben Ahmetaj, former No. 2 in the Rama government, who, after being dismissed with the prime minister's signature 3 years ago, was succeeded by Belinda Balluku.

In an interview with journalist Çim Peka for Syri TV, Ahmetaj spoke from Switzerland, where he is on the run, about the government's corrupt affairs, focusing on Balluku.

'The biggest plunderer of the state budget'

Referring to Balluk, the former deputy prime minister described her as "the biggest looter of the state budget," a theft that he estimated to have caused "twice as much" damage as the 2019 earthquake.

"Forgive me, because I will also refer to it with figures, but since the time of Ismail Qemali, but not the virtual one that the head of the organization puts out, the real one, Belinda Balluku is the biggest looter of the state budget. 'Tenders under Balluk increased by 11 billion lek'

The affairs were reaching their peak and according to Ahmetaj, the current deputy prime minister has committed massive thefts to the extent that she has increased the level of tenders by 11 billion. Ahmetaj emphasized that with the Llogara tunnel alone, "she has swallowed the equivalent of two incinerators in Fier and Elbasan and the equivalent of 15 large schools."

'He paid people to protest Veliaj'

Once 'brother and sister', Balluku - Veliaj quickly turned into an open struggle for power. The division between them did not escape the scrutiny of the media or online commentaries, but Ahmetaj himself reinforced the division within the SP.

"Her people have paid people to go to the protest. Look, when you finish this interview, you'll sit down with people, your fellow journalists, and they'll say, 'Yes, we know this, man, what did you say... tell them.'"

'Minister of 5B'

Ahmetaj accused Balluku of appointing 5 ministers to the government, one of whom was Pirro Vëngu of Defense, with the main goal: completing the chain of looting.

"Today, if you look at it from the party's side, if you look at the government, today the government is the 5D format of the Tirana municipality, if it's not 5D, it's 5B. The biggest looter in the history of Albania of the state budget, has appointed 5 ministers, two in collaboration with the exponents, 5 ministers to complete the chain of looting.
