Gunfire in a cafe in Kosovo, one dead and 3 injured

A serious murder happened in the early hours of the morning in a cafe in Skenderaj, Kosovo, where one person was killed and three others were injured.

The event took place in the village of Runik in Skenderaj around 01:21.

"Around 01:21, on August 10, 2023, the police received information about gunshots in a cafe in the village of Runike in Skenderaj. Necessary police units and the medical team immediately arrived at the scene.

Based on the initial investigations, four people were injured by the firearm. One of the injured, victim N. L, 39 years old, died at the scene, while three other injured persons (also from the firearm) were sent for medical treatment to the KKUK.

From the first investigations and inspection of the scene, it is suspected that two masked people entered the cafe, fired a gun and left in an unknown direction. As material evidence, several cartridges were found and confiscated at the scene of the incident," said the police announcement.
