Kurti in favor of Albania-Kosovo union: I would vote for yes, there are two

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has stated that he would vote for the unification of Albania and Kosovo. Kurti's only condition is that the referendum be democratic.

He stressed that Albania and Kosovo are one nation. Kurti made this statement for "Moncole". Kurti expressed the conviction that the citizens would be in the same line with him, if this referendum took place.

"I think if there were two referendums, people would vote for union. Kosovo and Albania are two states but one nation, we do not declare independence against Albania, but against Serbia

"I think that in the future, if it were to be presented as a democratic referendum, which would be conducted in a peaceful manner, I would vote yes, but I repeat it only if it is done in a democratic way, " he said.
