The DP enters the new Assembly with 9 deputies less than it won in the April 25

On April 25, the parliament voted and officially won mandates 4 political entities: SP, PD-AN, LSI and PSD.

In July, the CEC published the final election results and the award of seats based on their statements. From the final list it results that 9 mandates of PD are distributed for small allied political parties, 3 PR, 2 PDIU, 1 LZHK, 1 PAA, 1 PLL and 1 PBDNJ, estimates the ISP study.

According to official CEC data: Agron Duka (PAA) was on the multi-name list of PD Durrës; Fatmir Mediu (PR), was on the multi-name list of PD Tirana; Lindita Metaliaj (PR) was on the multi-name list of PD Lezha; Eralda Tase (PR) was on the multi-name list of PD Fier; Shpëtim Idrizi (PDIU) was on the multi-name list of PD Tirana; Nusret Avdulla (PDIU) was on the multi-name list of PD Fier; Vangjel Dule (PBDNJ) was on the multi-name list of PD Tirana; Andia Ulliri (PLL) was on the multi-name list of PD Durrës; Dashamir Shehi (LZHK) was on the multi-name list of PD Tirana.

Consequently, the new parliament will have 140 deputies, of which 74 PS, 50 PD, 4 LSI, 3 PSD, 3 PR, 2 PDIU, 1 PLL, 1 LZHK, 1 PBDNJ, 1 PAA.

In order to have a governing majority, 70 + 1 deputies are needed, so the only SP has the necessary number of mandates to govern alone. From the rest of the parliamentary representation, the 3 PSD votes are supportive votes for the SP also because the 3 winning candidates are local officials and activists of the Shkodra SP.

In this way, the SP is expected to have 77 permanent votes in parliament. The rest of the parties remain (currently) in opposition.
