They were blocked in Maja e Jezerca, the Croatian tourist lost his life

Two Croatian tourists had an accident today in Maja e Jezerca, while one of them lost his life and the other was injured.

Trope/Preliminary Information

The Operative Hall of the Tropoje Police Station has received notification from a group of Aplinists, who are thought to be Croatian citizens, who have climbed from the territory of Montenegro, to arrive at the place called "Maja e Jezerce", that one of the members of the group had fallen from steep mountainous and snowy terrain.  

Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Tropoja Police Station, together with the medical team of the Tropoja hospital and the search and rescue team, have left together with the Civil Emergency helicopter, towards the given address.  

After several hours of searching by the Police services, the tourists were located in the place called "Maja e Jezerce".

The Croatian tourist, citizen ZL, 43 years old, fell from a height due to the steep mountain terrain and as a result lost her life.

The search and rescue team has made it possible to extract the dead body and it will be transported by helicopter to the morgue. 

The rescue operation continues, supported by the Ministry of Health and Defense, to make it possible to get other tourists out of the place where they are trapped.
